The search for the finest cacao to use in Rogue Chocolatier's single-origin chocolate bars has brought us to farms in Peru, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Trinidad and Tobago and Honduras to learn more about what happens on the ground and interact with farmers in producing areas. We work directly with farmers and producers to procure the best quality raw materials we can find. In addition, we pay high quality-based premiums that are on the order of 2-4 times the minimums required by Fair Trade organizations. By doing this we hope to foster a more sustainable future for fine cacao and the farmers who produce it.
